"Surface Deep" is a CG animated Short film created independently by students at Texas A&M University in the Department of Visualization. I have joined on since this trailer was completed in order to bring the project to its full completion. My contributions will include lighting lead, render wrangler/optimization, and compositing for multiple shot sequences.
This is the largest student project to date from Texas A&M, with a total of ~30 students who have worked on the short. Above is our teaser trailer for what will become a 4 minute short. Our projected end date for the project is the first quarter of 2022. Look out for shot breakdowns, festival placements, and more information about the inspiration and making of Surface Deep soon.
